Dischidia Ruscifolia

Hoya Carnosa

This hoya originally came from my great grandma 25+ years ago in Seattle. My grandma took clippings from her, my mom took clippings from my grandma in Alaska, and I just took clippings from my mom and brought them to Florida. A multi-generational hoya :) It rooted very quickly and is now growing like a week in this humid weather. The new growth starts out very dark (see above), then lightens up.

Brassavola Nodosa

This orchid is also called "Lady of the Night" because it only smells at night when it's blooming. And it smells just like Jägermeister!!

Huernia Zebrina aka "Life Saver Plant"

Hoya Lacunosa

Hoya Lacunosa blooming! This is potted in a 4" terracotta pot, mixed in with my orchids. It gets pretty much the same treatment as everything else, I just water it once it dries out. This plant has about 15 peduncles currently blooming.

Paph. Pinocchio

I got this from Home Depot last year. It was tagged wrong and had no open flowers, so I didn't know what I was buying. It has had one spike blooming continuously for the past few months. Two other growths started producing spikes, and now there are 3! This flower is about 1.5" tall.

Hoya Tsangii DS-70 (blooms just opening)

Howeara Lava Burst 'Puanani'

Dtps. Linda Pearlstein 'FANGtastic'

I've had this one for a year now, and last November it started putting out a new spike. Spike took almost 3 months before the flowers opened. The white is glittery and the center a very pretty pink/red with really long fangs (I don't know their real name).

Cryptanthus Bivittatus 'Red Star'

Growing in a 3" pot, currently blooming (or getting ready to bloom? I've never had one of these before).
